Just Us
I have always wondered if ‘Best Friends’ do exist, still wondering and will keep wondering! Often times I ponder over this thought and realize maybe not, maybe yes, not sure! Friendship is a relationship that has to be nurtured over the years, has to be deep-rooted and above all, has to have the purity and luster like a sparkling pearl!

I had clicked this shot a few months back at a friend’s place and was intrigued by the innocence and guileless nature of these two young girls relationship! My brain rattled and started to pen down my thoughts as always!
A very short poem on the true essence of friendship- ( in my mind )
A stranger before, now a friend
This relationship should never end
Since the day I’ve known you
Nothing but our love grew
You make me laugh
You make me cry
You make me think
You make me frantic
But, you are always there
Without a blink
I maybe crestfallen
I look at you, I’m beyond normal
Your soothing voice
Brings back my ‘Joyce’
With you, I always feel free
Nothing but jubilant and glee
Do you know, you are my shining angel?
Always with me like a sparkling bangle
I promise to always hold your hand
Like a tight twisted band
How can I ever let you go?
God has gifted me
With the best ever ‘Friend’
