If you love words that feel like conversations over a cup of chai or coffee, take a pause and read along my articles and poems. They are little musings about life, love, and everything in between. Every word carries a pulse, a whisper of stories untold and emotions shared. Little offerings from my inner self to yours, hoping to touch a tender space within you. May you find light, warmth, and gentle reminders in them.
Your voice matters here. Read through the lines, let them touch a corner of your heart, and leave a thought behind. I hope you find a little piece of yourself in my words. A sentence, a memory or a reflection — whatever stirs within you. I would love to hear what you feel.
DELAYED GRATIFICATION: Couldn’t Be Happier Than This!

I had heard the term ‘delayed gratification’ before, but I never truly understood what it meant — until now.

It never resonated with me.
I was always chasing instant results — on a rapid-fire speed. I wanted to see something happen — right away —with quickness in all actions.

If I didn’t receive feedback quickly, I assumed I wasn’t doing enough.
Or worse, that it wasn’t good enough.

Have you felt that too?

Chasing the mirage of immediacy, you see. Well, it never worked, nor will it.

I was so attached to the outcome. Constantly refreshing, checking, wondering, doubting. Impatience started to feel like part of the process — like if I wasn’t stressing over results, was I even trying?

But something shifted.

Lately, I’ve been sitting with the idea that not everything needs to show up right away. It’s not as simple as one may think.
Things take time to materialize.
Instant confirmation does not work.

Have you ever done something — created, submitted, shared — and then just let it go? Yes, that happened to me.

I submitted my poetry piece to the International Rotary Poet of the Year 2025, a prestigious competition that celebrates emerging poets. I typed, proofread a million times, and hit the submit button. I didn’t think much of it; actually, I forgot I even sent it.

Six months passed. Then one morning — boom — a message:
“Your poetry piece is being commended as the Rotary Poet of the Year 2025 by the Rotary International President.”
Was this for real? I kept wondering.

I read, reread, and read the email many times, you know, just to be sure. And weirdly, it meant more because I honestly wasn’t waiting for it.

It made me realize:

Sometimes, the most meaningful things take time to come full circle.
Sometimes, growth occurs even when it feels like nothing is happening.
Sometimes, letting go is the most substantial part of the transformation process — liberating metamorphosis.

So, I’m learning to be okay with the quiet. Settle in with the mysterious Arcadian rhythm and let it be— to stay consistent without needing constant signs.

Still working on it — but maybe that’s the point.

Proof That Patience is Power — In Its Own Time, In Its Full Glory.

Grateful for the words that flow, the higher power that holds me, and the warmth of my coffee.
