In the stillness of my warm coffee, the calm of my nature walks, talking to my plants, adjusting that crooked painting on the wall, reaching for that one speck of dust no one else sees, and the comfort of my books, I find pieces of myself.
I sort myself.
I gather myself.
I comfort myself.
Because,
That’s me.
Some days I sit with questions, some days with silence and some days with hush— but always with myself.
That quiet companionship is enough.
